Organizations

Manage your organization and team members

Organizations are the top-level containers in Denied. They hold your projects, policies, and team members.

Overview

Every user belongs to at least one organization. Organizations provide:

  • Multi-tenancy — Isolate policies and data between teams or clients
  • Team collaboration — Invite members and assign roles
  • Centralized management — Manage settings and access from one place

Creating an Organization

Ask the Denied team to create an organization for you.

Switching Organizations

If you belong to multiple organizations, use the organization switcher in the top navigation. Your current organization determines which projects and policies you see.

Team Management

Inviting Members

  1. Go to SettingsOrganizations → select your organization
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter their email address and click Send Invitation

The invited user will appear with Pending status until they accept.

Member Roles

RolePermissions
OwnerFull access — manage members, projects, and organization settings
MemberAccess projects, create and edit policies. Cannot manage org settings.

Changing Roles

Find the member in your organization's member list and click the role dropdown to change it.

Demoting an Owner to Member removes their administrative access immediately.

Managing Invitations

To view invitations you've received:

  1. Go to SettingsOrganizations
  2. Look for the Pending Invitations section
  3. Accept or Decline each invitation
